Friedensreich Hundertwasser (15.12.1928 – 19.02.2000) was a famous Austrian artist of the late 20th century, who was primarily active as a painter, but also in the fields of architecture and environmental protection.

As an opponent of straight lines and any standardisation, Hundertwasser attaches great importance to curved forms, imaginative liveliness, bright colours and the inclusion of nature in his works.
